All shipments are hand packed with special care in recycled wool cooler boxes. We use dry ice and frozen ice packs. All of meat products are shipped fresh and frozen depending on the product. It is possible for frozen products to thaw during shipping, however that will not affect product quality at all and feel free to refreeze that product when you receive it!
We try to ship out every order the same day, though because we run a very limited stock fulfillment of orders can take longer.
To reduce shipments sitting in shipment warehouses, we primarily ship on Monday & Tuesday and possibly Wednesday depending on the final destination of the shipment. You will receive an e-mail when you place your order as confirmation, and when your order is shipped containing the tracking number.
These are perishable products and should be properly stored as soon as received. We ask that someone is made available to receive the shipment and take the care needed to insure the quality of the product when it arrives. You are responsible to provide the proper information for the delivery of the product within the period that is required for the perishable content. Swine & Sea is not responsible for any package that is lost or stolen after the delivery confirmation is received.
